Questions before
you book.

Do I need to be an experienced diver?

Not at all. You must hold a PADI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent from another recognised agency). The course is specifically designed for certified OWD divers who want to continue developing their skills. Minimum age 15, or 12 for the Junior AOWD.

Which Adventure Dives can I choose?

This depends on conditions and scheduling, but common options include Drift Diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Fish Identification, Search and Recovery and Multilevel Diving. We recommend Drift Diving — Nusa Penida is known worldwide for it.

How deep will I dive?

During the Deep Adventure Dive, you’ll dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres under the direct supervision of your PADI instructor. Full briefing and safety planning before every dive.

How long does the course take?

Most students complete the course in two days, although some choose to spread it over three days. The course is performance-based and always adapts to your pace.

Is there an exam?

No. There is no final exam. The course is based primarily on practical diving experience, supported by independent study. The focus is on diving, not theory.

Is there an OWD + AOWD package?

Yes! You can do both courses in 6 days for 11,000,000 IDR — including 9 dives plus 1 free fun dive. It’s the most efficient way to go from beginner to advanced diver.

Will I see manta rays?

Manta rays are present year-round in Nusa Penida. Many AOWD students encounter them during their dives — we can’t guarantee a sighting but the chances are excellent.
