Snorkelling

Snorkeling is an easy aquatic activity within everyone’s reach and a perfect first introduction to the ocean wonders. Discover the majesty of Manta Rays and the stange colors of coral.

It is available safely even for non-swimmers. Life jackets can be worn to float while you enjoy the wonders of Nusa Penida’s immaculate reefscape. This activity is also available for children over 8 years old, to develop their love for the ocean in a safe and exciting way.

An activity full of surprises with a lot of fun in the water.

Additional accessories can help keep you afloat and reduce fatigue: buoys, and exposure suits. With snorkeling, no heavy equipment is required: a mask, snorkel and fins are all you need. Shorty or long wetsuit can complete the outfit to protect against cold water or sun rays.

In snorkeling, everyone has fun and enjoys the fauna and flora without risk! No need to go very deep to discover the wonderful aquatic life of Nusa Penida.

There are several outing possibilities with Temple:

  • if conditions are suitable, we can go to Manta Point or Manta Bay, where you have high chances of being able to swim with manta rays – and don’t worry, they are nice and totally harmless!
  • a snorkeling tour called “drifting”: departure with a guide from our boat which follows the group while we are carried gently by the current. This is a great activity for those who don’t want to kick or swim too much. At our drifting sites, we have beautiful corals, lots of fish, and a great chance to see sea turtles.

Snorkeling allows you to discover new sensations: buoyancy, motor skills with fins, and breathing through the snorkel, which can be the first steps towards scuba diving!

How much does it cost?

Our prices include equipment, guide, lunch and beverages. We also include wetsuits for sun protection, and for those cold water days. We pride ourselves on our slow-paced snorkeling tours. We want you to have plenty of time in the water to find the cool creatures that you are looking for. Our guides are all highly trained in helping you find creatures, plus their rescue skills are always up to date!
